Social Media app, Snapchat, has undergone a recent update in the past months which has left many users angry, signing petitions, finding work-arounds or even logging off the application.
A particular Change.org petition, despite being signed by more than a million users, sparked Snapchat to voice a reaction that they will not be reversing the changes made on the network, and stick by what they have initiated - with even more change to come.
Analyst Mark May wrote: ‘While the recent redesign of its flagship app could produce positive long-term benefits, the significant jump in negative app reviews since the redesign was pushed out a few weeks could result in a decline in users and user engagement, which could negatively impact financial results.’
