If you want a smart fitness experience, is this the answer?

Zwift is the answer to a gamified immersive fitness experience... that being said, it still has a rather interesting roadmap ahead with running to join its experiences.

I would be jumping straight into this, but the tech/gadgets needed are rather expensive at this point. I did a little "light" research and found that the prerequisite Smart Trainer is around $1k NZD.

Zwift have created a VR experience as well as Smart Trainers. But VR headsets while exercising is not practice. However, with the number of people taking it up means the tech will just get cheaper. Keep an eye out, as this concept has legs and I am looking forward to seeing Zwift and others push out similar ideas and concepts.

With 17,000 Twitter followers, 100,000 fans on Facebook and a half million views on YouTube, Zwift has had little mainstream press coverage recently outside of the cycling circuit. A month or so ago, Mark Zuckerberg did post his support of Zwift when he found himself using it as a recovery option after breaking his arm.
